- from the dinner our company sponsored, its from a turkish restaurant located with in Bugis area, a few blocks away from bishan mrt.
- the food are great specifically this set of meal that has prawn, mussel, fish fillet, sotong with red sauce but surprisingly not spicy at all, I cant determine the spices that they add in it. but definitely its good.

pepper lunch at amk hub..why pepper lunch because of their generous serving of pepper to all of their food...
so the meal here is a raw beef with vegies and serve in hot metal plate.. so basically you are the one who will cook your food.. the nice thing here is you got to choose which seasoning to put in.. they have the garlic sauce and the honey.. i prefer the garlic tho, i like the saltiness of it.. you can also ask a teriyaki sauce but that have an extra cost..
the original meal here was beef and rice with lots of pepper and corn on top until they decided to serve other stuff like, chicken, salmon, burger, and lately they also serve spagetti in a sizzling plate... the food is great but theres a down fall.. hehe people will know what you had for lunch or dinner coz the smell will stick with you.. hehe..

here are some of the food we ate in Todaii, its a korean inspired resto in Marina Bay Sands. so from the left is a seafood chau fan and a fish fillet on top, next is scallop and tau fu with yellow sauce i dnt know what it is at first i thought its an eggyolk, then fried prawn and i called it maruya coz it taste like maruya and theres also banana bits inside. and last the bread that go together with the chilly crab. the rest of the food we ate here i havent got a chance to photograph coz i got busy eating.. hehe

Its the first time that me and my brother be miles away from home its really nice to enjoy traveling with him, we just wish that ate em and mama were there with us and specially papa..

Tried introducing him to singapore cuisine hit sadly he still chooses the western food but he likes the chicken rice and the home made juice tho.. He's not into seafood that much ans noodles..

Late lunch alone.. Just want to try this western resto at plaza singapura. I always always get so many fliers from them every time i go here in plaza. Until i thought why not try their appeticing cuisine. So heres my scenario after a half day of work and loaded with bad news from last night "i thought i need a hearty meal, so... must find a food that will make me happy..
I have this dream to explore places and try different foods as i go places, got it from watching no reservation of anthony bourdain and staying here in singapore helped me materialized that dream in a semi kind of so.. Consider this as my starter for food blog..

This is steak king prawn n' Aglio Olio
Tap on my back i finished my plate this time.. Tho the steak is not that superb unlike the steak of rasa sayang.. I manage to enjoy my meal, the combination of pasta with aglio oil and the vinegret (typo unsure) of salad helped me to finish the whole plate coz the taste didn't overwhelm my tastebuds. I love the pasta with aglio oil its like the matabang version of the pasta i tasted @ yellow cab. Its spicy too thats why i love it..

EatBulaga, FYI this show is really genius for me... they always come out with lots of creative gimiks.. like this one.. sory can't explain "gimik" in english.. vocabulary fails again... hehe
anyways.. this is a word guessing game but the twist is the one giving the clue don't know what the word is he have to figure it out with his partner, on ther other hand even if his partner can see the word his partner can't say anything other than yes, no, maybe or "pwede" which means possible or can be in english.. try it.. this game is hilarious and fun too..

yehey.. we finally reached the Universal ground.. so what better way to start the day but to have photos with the Universal Globe, the flag bearer of the theme park.. and we were not alone with this thought.. well it shows..

i really love the excitement that I can't keep a straight face when the camera clicks...

celebrities are just around the corner ready to share some fun and photo ops.. we had so much fun meeting them and having a picture with them, we even saw the Street Boys they're a regular performer they even shouted "oh mga kababayan picture-picture na..."after their show..
at first we didn't recognize them but their moves were familiar then after their performance they announced that they are the street boys.. I literally run straight to them and even get to hug maynard.. nice right.. super fan...

Queuing for the rides took most of our time, 30 minutes was the fastest for a ride that will took less than 5 minutes or maybe 10.. but waiting had been a fun experience too.. we did a lot of picture taking while on the line and a lot of running in the queue for shrek 4d and the mummy..

the US is divided into different parts here are some of the areas we explored.

first part the MADAGASGAR - where you can see the animal grand carrousel perfect for kids and young at heart if you want to get dizzy with the round robin motion and soft music, that would be perfect.. we had oour photo ops with the gang of course..
next is the Kingdom Of Far Far Away, home for Sherk, Fiona, Puzz, Dunkey and the rest of fairy tale characters.. Here I was able to watch for the first time the 4d animation.. It was great, one of the must try features there. And the small time rollercoaster that we didn't took seriously.. "woohh.. chicken feed.. just for kids.. sisiw.." but during the ride our scream was the loudest.. what a ride ender for us..

lots of twist and turns and really challenging ride, I thought I'll loose my tonsils in this ride, I think from start to finish I'm screaming...
gabby, the one in orange shirt was like that the whole ride.. he keeps on waiting for the camera..

the River Rapids - we've queuing for this ride for 90 minutes or more.. and while at it, we we're laughing at those who were soaking wet when they step out of the ride, it was as if a bucket of water was poured into them... I got scared here more than the mummy, total darkness was my waterloo..
they say my reaction was the most believable...

I really wanted this extreme adrenalin pumping rollercoaster ride but sadly it was still closed due to some technical issues.. so next time.. I'll come back for you.

(because I was inspired by Strange Fruit chico garcia's blog www.chicogarcia.worpress.com about their trip to singapore & Universal Studio.. gumaya din ako.. (i decided to make one too..)

Ooopss not the US of A.. its our trip to Universal Studio SINGAPORE!!!!

This trip was supposed to be on Christmas Day itself but we failed to snatch tickets for that date even tho we purchased them 1st week of December.. badtrip, its sold out good thing 26th is still available.. Its been 3 weeks waiting time but finally we made it... (excited!!!!)
So we're all set.. M & M's t-shirt check (uniform), most of them came from me, thats my Christmas gift to them, I can't afford the tickets so I just gave them the shirts.. It really felt like we're going on a field trip.. OK.. Happy faces check altho TI wasn't so happy for her attire coz the shirt that she's supposed to wear is too large that it fits Hector so she borrowed my extra green shirt. Extra shirts check coz we're expecting to get soak in the river rapids. Meds check.. incase there's dizzyness, nausea, vomiting and stuff that could happen after the rides.. OK!!! We're all set lets go..

It really felt like its the christmas day, for me that is.. Hmm... a lot of people are out and the bus stop was packed., a lot of them were going to church coz its a sunday. But that didn't stop us from taking picture picture..

Notice how our picture looks like we were the only people waiting for the bus maybe Singaporeans are camera shy..hmm or maybe they thought we are lunatic that they kept their distance.heh Whatever who cares we were in a field trip mode.

And so we went straight to ViVO City the doorway towards Sentosa where Universal Studio is..
There's 3 means of transpo going there 1st the expensive but very exciting and amazing cable car which until now I haven't seen, next is the all reliable Bus which may take some couple of minutes travel time but the catch there is its free.. and the monorail which will take you straight to US just a stop and you're there. all you need is your EZ link and your off.. you can also buy the cardpass near the entrance but there might be a long queue specially when your going there on a week end or a holiday.

Ship Series

So as I was thinking of a better things to write tonight, then Qya Jim came in to our room and brag about his new 1 singapore dollar bill so as Usi (wants to know everything) as I'am I took a look at it and sympre.. ask for 1 as a souvenir.. He said a cab driver or vendor i'm not sure gave him this as a change... he have 5 pieces of them and the other 1 was different so he gave this one since the 3 other bills were just like this.
so as I was thinking how to put this here, I wondered what year it was printed out and if its the first print for its batch . I decided to googled it, to be more accurate, then I found out its not a new bill but an old one, almost my age to be exact coz it was first release in between 1985 & 1989, and that this 1 dollar bill is called the Ship series next to the Bird Series (which is their 2nd series of notes) and the first one is the Orchid series. Cool right I didn't know that every series of notes in here got a special theme or something.. these series are all in paper material.
The latest that Singapore is using are the Portrait series which at first was in paper material too but by the year 2006 they started using the polymer which kind a like plastic. Maybe they thought that with plastic they don't have to change the bills as often than the usual coz it'll not deteriorate quickly, but its easy to tear tho.
this c/20 066522 got me curious what its all about, so I fished for more info about it and how it works but sadly there is none but... as I was searching for it I found out that the same dollar bill but with a serial (i don't know if its called serial) Z/1 472023 is in eBay for the price of 35RM which is equivalent to $14sg.

Its really worth something right.. more than the one dollar that its worth. I felt lucky and happy coz I was able to find out a little something something about singapore too, History that is.. although its still about money, which is the reason why I am here.. heh

-the client still wants the concept to continue until their own private room. painting one wall with Grey slate color creates a cool soothing ambiance with in the master bedroom.

-The Modern Chinita Room
we incorporate the famous Chinese color combo in this room for the clients daughter. As a common notion of black as very massive and masculine we'll put up circular patterned partition, incorporate Chinese building silhouette with birds stencil and patterned carpet to show the feminity of the room.

while I'm oceans apart in our home I manage to find a Ohana in this part of the globe. They've been with me back in the Philippines but right now here they are my family. I dont know if they have the idea that I really consider them as THE IT my Ohana here in SG and i wish they can feel it. nah.. maybe they don't get it.. But I hope they feel the same way.. Though often time I feel alone, I still feel thankful that they're with me. I just have to have the gutts and accuracy to express what I really want to say and feel, which is the difficult part of it. But Im trying although all that's coming out of my mouth were about pain and complain but im getting there. I just hope they could stay until I'm ready to tell the deepest part of the hurting.
I know they've got their own lives to deal with. We all have... I'm just thankful they're here with me.

A Place in This World???

yes, I want to know where my place in this world would be.. after living for nearly 3 decades I'm supposed to know by now where it should be,right? Or maybe just a hint would be ok. But right now I'm all scattered, trying to survive in this place I'm in without even knowing what I want in life. How am I suppose to know which place in this world I would be when even knowing what I want is already a task.
For a while I've searching for what I want trying to give words to the feelings that I'm having but often times my words don't give justice to what I feel. I'm constantly trying to explain to people what I want and don't want as if it matters to them what I say, so as I think. But I still say them, with thought in mind that somehow while saying it to them would make them realize I'm interesting. That possibly they'll consider of sharing their world with me tell things or some bits and pieces of their life that would make me part of it.
I just want to be part of someone's life. I just want t be part of their world without pushing myself too much to it. I just want to have another hand to hold when the world is having a turmoil. I always wanted to ask if its too much to ask for this.. but don't dare to sent it out coz I'm afraid HE will tell me the real reason why its still not happening.

Last saturday im searching for a movie to watch then i stumble in this disney movie entitled Ramona and the buzzzess.. its a kid movie but i loved it.. i was totally hooked up with it.. i really was focus watching it.. not a lot of movie can make me focus these days thats why im really happy seeing that movie... i heard a song there that really catched my attention.. so I searched for it, thou i dont know the title.. i didn't give up i searched for the name of selena thinking it was her song, type my guessed title of the song, type a few lyrics. and then after a few minutes taylor swifts name come out and its her song.. I totally love the song.. so got to share it..

I bought this new book, there was a sale in expo and we decided to take a look at the sale.. my friends and i thought the sale were all IT, computer, apparrel, shoes and others.. i wasn't planning to get anything until we came in to this large hall its like the size of a basketball court or twice the size of it.. and man it was filled with books in a very very low price... and the book worm part of me that im trying to hide just kick out and just run into the hall, not literally tho. i was so overwhelm by the amount of books that were in front of me.. its like i want to take them all home.. but clearly that is not possible coz i know a lot of them will just be filled with dust in the bookcase..
so how to choose its like they are all whispering in my ear choose me im nice, im the best pick me, i can tell you everything, take me i can be a good companion.. they are all nice and juicy but i only have to choose maximum of three.. so i just stand in the center look around and the first table that seems like pulling me i went to it.. then without touching anything i began to scan the table picking only the books that really calls my attention i don't know how to describe it but its as if there's a filter in my eyes that i can only read a very few titles.. and then after the 2nd table i found this little book.. and from the first time i've seen it i knew i would want to take it home.. its like finding the right puppy in the pet shop.. after this i still went around i was able to grab 2 more books because the sale says 5 for a certain $ which is very cheap.. so i search for other books i was able to find a hardbound copy of the former book that i really like and the other one is just about an aspiration book.. but the first book that i pick i was contented with it... i love finding a great book its like finding a needle in a hay stack.. i still havent started reading but i know this would be a nice book..

find a book that would have things i need to keep in mind if i wanna succeed in this field... this merely a guidelines but information is the key.. i didn't realize i'll be purchasing this one i just happen to pass by bookstore kinokinuya in Takashimaya.. i never intend of buying book that day and the price tag is beyond my budget but i realize this won't be a waste.. i'll make sure of that... heh.. i hope this could get me the card that we so wanted...

its the 4th day that CBD is covered with haze from the fire in Sumatra... i didnt realize at first, i just thot the sun looks nice orange in color and very blurry as if its the yolk of the sunny side up egg but not well done. i like the scene it felt like winter is about to come in the pacific. but i didnt realize its from a misfortune of another place... its odd how we percieve things we see..its always a beauty at first but the more we look at it the more we see wats beneath..

its that something important as oneself.

so you walk around pretending all's fine.
you continue with your own life.
you do things that has to be done.
act as if you careless what they do to you, for you..
but at the end of the day you still remember them all.
putting into account things that made some impact.
then you vaulted them in, in separated logs.
you kept them where they're supposed to be.
and no matter what, no matter how, you kept them all there.
you hide them all, for these things can't just be open up.
exposing them means more hurt...
so you suck 'em up, up until your heart blows up
then splurge some bucket of tears at rare occasion
then hide them all for the rest of the season
you continue with this while waiting for that happy ending to begin.

Filipinos being united in a common goal to save and change our country.. and just when we thought we're starting to move on.. we had to face this tragedy, where blood has been shed and lives were spared.. we grieve and morn for what happen too... and even scrutinize our system more,,, but i hope this won't break our nations unity and our belief that our nation is still best the place we wished to come home to, and despite the other countries doubts and criticism to our home.. lets be united as a nation, lets show them we are not what they think we are just because of what happen..

this may work... specially when your lucky
but most of the time your all on your own
you have to manage and cross it alone
they may cheer you up
give you pointers to follow and encouraging words
you'll listen and study things that they will say
but in overdoing it.. may end up more confusion
then dealing with your own crossroad becomes a mess

but you cannot stay there for too long
for the longer you stay the harder it takes to cross

the latest book that i've finish.. it took a bit long to finish,.. i liked it very much.. its about orienting yourself all over again after a tragedy.. bouncing back to your path and realizing that what you had before is not as perfect or as bad as you think then.. what matters is you live your now and things will work out just the way it suppossed to be.. and the people you meet along the way are the one who wìll light up your world you just need to give them a chance.

drawing in an almost 2x2 inch box was my hobby when i was in college, i cant draw in a large paper coz it doest look gud.. thats when i discover i can create a mini portrait.. i like drawing landscape with a couple facing the horizon i think thats so sweet.. i use to draw these b4 during lectures n when me n my frends hangout n just chill.. i remember this 1 guy way back n college.. he saw drawing 1 time n decided to draw too.. i really like him b4 but his drawing looks weird.. then he just sign my drawing as if its his.. then i just said u can kip it take it as my after 5 yrs letter.. aftr 5 years letter 4 is like a portal where after 5 years i ask f he still have it n i'l take a look at it n see if we still recall the exact feelings n scenario of that date.. i dnt know if he kept it... but i kept his drawing n my box.. its been more than 5 years.. i dnt know why i still have it..
